I have been working with plants and gardens since I was a small boy when I learned about gardening with my father.

After leaving school I trained at Elmwood, Kingsway Technical Colleges and the Royal Botanic Garden in Edinburgh.

Before a thirty year career in teaching horticulture I worked with Dundee Parks Department and Soutar’s sports Turf.

When not at work I assist in the judging of the Perth & Kinross summer community gardening competitions and for many years I was on the committee and chaired Blair in Bloom.

At one time I was a guest presenter on the Beechgrove Garden tv programme and have been involved in radio work as well.

Over the years I have overseen many community landscape projects and assisted many friends and family to landscape and enhance their gardens. I enjoy the challenge of solving garden problems for people, assisting them to create their new garden layout and implementing improvements through garden upgrades and makeovers.

I am looking forward to new challenges and helping individuals to create their dream garden.
